Randy Treadaway is a founding member of the Treadaway Bollinger law firm in Covington, Louisiana. His practice primarily includes nationwide  insurance coverage litigation energy-related litigation, extra-contractual insurance matters, insurance defense litigation, the defense of property and casualty insurance claims, environmental and toxic tort litigation, products liability matters and the defense of mass tort claims and class action litigation involving construction defect and toxic tort claims.  Mr. Treadaway also has extensive experience in admiralty and maritime law, including Jones Act claims, 905(b) claims, personal injury and death claims, offshore disasters, collisions, allisions, sinkings, strandings and salvage claims.

Mr. Treadaway attended Tulane University and obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology in 1977. After working offshore as a drilling engineer for two years, he studied law at Loyola University School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate degree in 1982. He served as an extern law clerk to United States District Court Judge George Arceneaux, Jr. from 1981 to 1982 prior to entering private practice with the law firm of Lemle & Kelleher. He has been licensed to practice in all state and federal district courts in Louisiana since 1982, and he is admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits as well as the United States Supreme Court. He is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and the Covington Bar Association.

Mr. Treadaway routinely advises both foreign and domestic insurance clients on coverage issues pending throughout the United States and he has authored endorsements for inclusion in marine insurance contracts. He also previously served as a member and later as the Chairman of the Louisiana Riverboat Gaming Commission.
